Pool Attendant Information
As a Pool Attendant, you are the face of SwimSafe when clients walk through the gates. That is a BIG responsibility and a vital role in the company. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance, mature actions, and exhibit a high level of customer service.
Pool Attendant Uniform
Pool Attendants must be in SwimSafe uniform for ALL shifts. The uniform consists of:
- SwimSafe Pool Attendant Polo or T-Shirt
- SwimSafe Nametag WITH Name
- Well fitting, solid colored, shorts or skorts
- Close toed shoes
One uniform shirt and nametag will be provided to new employees, you should have received information on ordering these in your welcome email.

Customer Service Do’s
- Greet every person with a smile, every time
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Listen to understand, not just respond
- Maintain a full understanding of facility policy
- Communicate clearly and with empathy
Customer Service Dont’s
- Answer a question with “I don’t know”, instead try “Let me find out for you!”
- Be distracted on your phone or with other personal tasks
- Ignore complaints. If it is not something you can fix, thank them and let a manager know ASAP
