Pool Attendant Information

As a Pool Attendant, you are the face of SwimSafe when clients walk through the gates. That is a BIG responsibility and a vital role in the company. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance, mature actions, and exhibit a high level of customer service.

Pool Attendant Uniform

Pool Attendants must be in SwimSafe uniform for ALL shifts. The uniform consists of:

  • SwimSafe Pool Attendant Polo or T-Shirt
  • SwimSafe Nametag WITH Name
  • Well fitting, solid colored, shorts or skorts
  • Close toed shoes

One uniform shirt and nametag will be provided to new employees, you should have received information on ordering these in your welcome email.

Customer Service Do’s

  1. Greet every person with a smile, every time
  2. Maintain a professional appearance
  3. Listen to understand, not just respond
  4. Maintain a full understanding of facility policy
  5. Communicate clearly and with empathy

Customer Service Dont’s

  1. Answer a question with “I don’t know”, instead try “Let me find out for you!”
  2. Be distracted on your phone or with other personal tasks
  3. Ignore complaints. If it is not something you can fix, thank them and let a manager know ASAP
